What is my credit limit on IB Pay Later?

Answer: IB Pay Later offers you a credit limit based on your past credit history. The maximum credit limit offered is Rs. 2 Lacs.

Can I request an increase/decrease in my credit limit?

Answer: Your credit limit is ascertained based on your past credit history, as reflected through your CIBIL score and the scores given by other credit bureaus. This limit cannot be increased or decreased immediately. However, your credit limit may be increased in either of the following scenarios:

  • You improve your credit rating and re-apply for IB Pay Later in 90 days
  • You use IB Pay Later with your current credit limit and keep repaying your credit timely
Why do I need to complete KYC for availing Pay Later services? Is my KYC/account information shared with partners?

Answer: In order for us to offer the convenience of IB Pay Later to our customers, it is important for us to verify whether a new account created is legitimate or not. The completion of KYC also helps our system auto-sanction a credit limit based on your credit history and CIBIL score.

The user information is shared only with our trusted partners associated with IB Pay Later to help smoothen the process. You can rest assured that your data is secured and will not be shared with any spammy websites.

How do I know if a particular product is eligible for IB Pay Later?

Answer: All items available on Industrybuying.com are eligible for IB Pay Later except Gift Cards.

Do I need to make a down payment to buy an item using IB Pay Later?

Answer: No, you do not need to pay any down payment. You can activate your FREE IB Pay Later account and start shopping immediately without paying a single paisa upfront.

Can I cancel/return my order after I've placed it using IB Pay Later?

Answer: Yes, you can cancel/return your order anytime within 7 days. Your IB Pay Later credit will be restored and all pending dues will be cleared against the corresponding order.

How can I make the repayment?

Answer: To repay the due amount, visit your personalised BNPL dashboard by logging into your account. Your pending balance will be displayed on the screen along with the payment account details. You can either transfer the money directly from your bank or you can use UPI to complete the payment.

Can I buy the products more than my granted limit?

Answer: Yes, you can shop products that are worth more than your granted IB Pay Later limit. However, you’ll have to pay the remaining amount upfront. For orders greater than your available limit, Amount to be Paid Upfront = Order Value - Available Limit

Can I do the partial payment in BNPL?

Answer: Yes, you can shop products that are worth more than your granted IB Pay Later limit. However, you’ll have to pay the remaining amount upfront. For orders greater than your available limit, Amount to be Paid Upfront = Order Value - Available Limit

What if I am not able to repay my loan?

Answer: In case of failure in paying back the due amount within the stipulated time, a daily interest would be charged on your balance amount. If the payment is further delayed for an additional period of 5 days beyond the due repayment date, the customer may be held liable for legal action.
